Happy New Year!
It’s amazing how fast 2025 went by. What did you get accomplished this year? We had a year full of information and wonderful workshops and classes. Tara Miller taught us how to get out of our comfort zone with mixing patterns on fabric, Nina Clotfelter taught us how to English Paper Piece, we used the Little Twister ruler and learned how to make beautiful wreath quilts. We learned some Foundation Paper Piecing, and how to use a Scan and Cut and an Accuquilt cutter. Lisa Romans made t-shirts for us and led us in the Christmas Sock Exchange. Lisa and Becky Hooper certainly kept us busy, and this year looks to be as interesting and knowledge filled. Some of the upcoming events include a border workshop, Applique the Jill Lilly way, Sashiko, Trapunto and free motion quilting! And there’s even more to look forward to. We will also have some outside instructors come in to teach us and a couple of mini retreats.
We will again have our Spring retreat at Red Rooster with Pat Mistretta leading it again. It’s always so much fun and she does such a great job organizing this. If you would like to help, please let her know!
We found out this week that the church is going to be remodeling the fellowship hall. We do not have the dates for this yet, but once we do, we will be letting everyone know what our alternative plans will be.
Don’t forget about Pioneer Days at Fort Mitchell. Audrey Bergeron and Lisa Romans are cochairing this year. Please volunteer to help. This year is our big quilt show and we need all hands-on deck. Also remember to sew up some items for us to sell at the event. These can be brought in at any time and we will store them. Please PRICE EACH ITEM.

I personally want to thank everyone that has served as an officer or on a committee this past year. Without them our guild would not exist! Please be sure to thank them and to join them in doing what they do!
See you at guild. May your bobbins always be full and your rotary cutter sharp!!
